ROCHESTER, Mich. - Myles Zilinsky hit his first career grand slam home run followed by Thomas Miller who connected on his first career home run to cap off a six-run sixth inning helping Oakland to a 12-7 series clinching win over Milwaukee on Saturday. Jake Lee won his second consecutive outing going 5.0 innings with nine strikeouts while Nate Schweers picked up the save going 3.0 innings in relief with five strikeouts.
Tyler Trovinger went 4-for-5 with two doubles and a pair of runs scored while Mario Camilletti, Jordan Jackson and Mike McGee each recorded two of Oakland's 14 total hits and combined for seven total runs scored.
Down 3-0 in the fourth, Ryan Fitzgerald connected on a two-run RBI single to put the Golden Grizzlies on the board. Zilinsky's grand slam carried the left center wall followed by Miller's two-run shot put Oakland head for good at 8-3.
Oakland travels to West Lafayette, Ind. for the first of a two-game set at Purdue on Tuesday, April 3 at 6 p.m.
