BOSTON -- Kendrick Nunn has been selected to the Lou Henson All-America list announced by the organization on Wednesday.

Nunn was named the Horizon League Player of the Year after ranking second in the NCAA in points per game (25.9) and led the nation in three-point field goals per game at 4.47, an Oakland single-season school record. The Chicago native also led the country in 30-point games during the regular season season with 11.

The Lou Henson Award is presented annually to the nation's top Division I mid-major player and the winner will be announced on April 2 in San Antonio, the site of the men's NCAA Basketball Championship.

Lou Henson coached 41 years. When he left the game in 2005 he was sixth all-time in career Division I wins with 779. He is the winningest coach at both Illinois and New Mexico State. He is one of only 12 coaches in the history of the game to take two schools to the Final Four.
