TOLEDO, Ohio -- Hayley Bartholomew picthed 6.1 innings allowing just two runs with one strikeout as the Oakland softball team fell to Toledo 2-1 in walk-off fashion Wednesday at the Scott Park Softball Complex.

Brittney Miller recorded the lone Oakland RBI with a base hit in the fourth inning that drove in Madison Jones. Jamie Squires went 1-for-2 and Jones added a base hit, going 1-for-3.

In game one, Oakland fell 1-0 in a pitcher's duel as Haley Zemmer tossed 4.0 strong innings allowing just one run on three hits and striking out three batters. Jones and Kelsie Swanson each went 1-for-3.

Oakland will return to action at UIC to open league play March 30-31.
