MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Haley Zemmer recorded her second complete game of the season by tossing 7.0 innings allowing just two earned runs and striking out five batters as the Oakland softball team defeated Toledo 6-2 Saturday afternoon at the Morehead State Eagles Classic.

Offensively, Brittney Miller led the way going 2-for-3 with a RBI-double, scored a run plus drew a walk. Shannon Carr went 2-for-2 with one RBI, a double and one run scored. Madison Jones and Mikaylea Marciniak also added one RBI each.

Down 2-0 heading into the fifth inning, the Golden Grizzlies scored one run in the fifth, three in the sixth and added one in the seventh inning to secure the win.

Oakland will return to action tomorrow with a pair of games against East Tennessee State at 11 a.m. and Morehead State at 1 p.m.
