RICHMOND, Ky. --
Tyler Palm threw 6.0 innings allowing just three hits, one earned run and striking out seven batters to tie his career high as the Oakland baseball team fell to Eastern Kentucky in game two of the series 2-1 Saturday afternoon.
After four scoreless innings, Oakland got on the board first in the top of the fifth inning with a RBI single by Zach Sterry. Eastern Kentucky responded with runs in the sixth and eighth inning to hold on to the victory. Tyler Janish, who went 3-for-4 on the day, is currently riding a six game hitting streak. The Golden Grizzlies will close out the series tomorrow with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.
