ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland baseball team is set for its final Horizon League series of the season this weekend when the Golden Grizzlies host Milwaukee for a three-game set at the Oakland Baseball Field starting on Thursday at 3 p.m. Saturday's regular season finale will be broadcast on ESPN3 with Neal Ruhl on the call with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.

PROMOTIONS
On Saturday, Oakland will celebrate Senior Day as Mike Brosseau, Joe Buchalski Austin Fischer, Collin Gee, Brett Impemba, Alex Mason, Luke McCatty, Lucas Scocchia, Logan Sparkman, Chris Van Dyke and Ian Yetsko will be honored after the conclusion of the game.

LAST TIME OUT
The Golden Grizzlies are coming off a midweek victory at Michigan on Tuesday in extra innings, 6-5. Myles Zilinsky drove in the game-winning run in the 10th inning with a single to centerfield to plate Ben Hart, while Tyler Pagano went 2-for-4 including hitting a two-run home run. The Golden Grizzlies earned their first win over the Wolverines since 2002 and extended UM's losing streak to five-straight games. It marks the first time since 2002 that Oakland finishes the regular season undefeated against Big Ten opponents.

SERIES
Oakland is 5-11 all-time against Milwaukee after splitting a league doubleheader earlier this season in Wisconsin.

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
UWM enters the weekend series with a 15-10 record in league play, good for second place in the standings and just a half a game in front of UIC for the bye in the opening round of the Horizon League Championship. The Panthers are led offensively by Daulton Varsho and Luke Meeteer both hitting over .360 and have driven in more than 35 runs this season. On the mound, Brian Keller holds a 8-3 record in 13 starts and has four complete games along with 91 strikeouts.

HORIZON LEAGUE RANKINGS
The Oakland pitching staff has allowed the fewest hits in the Horizon League and ranks second in earned runs allowed and walks allowed in the league. RHP Joe Buchalski ranks inside the top-10 in the Horizon League in ERA, opposing batting average, hits allowed, and strikeouts with 61. Nate Green has six saves this season, tied for the most in the Horizon League and has the most in league play with four, while finishing 15 games this season.

Offensively, SS Mike Brosseau is solidifying himself as one of the best hitters in the conference as he is top-4 in the Horizon League in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and home runs, while ranking top-10 in runs scored and hits. INF Ian Yetsko ranks top-10 in the Horizon League in slugging percentage, while Yetsko and INF/OF Zach Sterry are top-10 in doubles.

PRESEASON ACCOLADES
Ian Yetsko was named to the Preseason All-Horizon League team at second base after earning all-Horizon League second team honors last season. He finished the season ranked 20th in the NCAA in doubles and eighth in doubles per game. Yetsko also hit .295 with a team-high 28 RBIs and 30 runs.

Tyler Pagano earned a spot on the College Sports Madness Preseason all-league first team after hitting .307 with 22 RBIs and 21 runs scored last season. Mike Brosseau earned a second team selection along with Yetsko on the Madness Preseason list after leading the team with seven home runs and .470 slugging percentage.

COACH MOOSE AT THE HELM
Head coach John Musachio enters his ninth season as the head coach and 11th overall with the program. He became the all-time winningest coach in program history last season and currently sits at 168 for his career. He was named The Summit League Coach of the Year in 2013. He has had four players drafted under his tenure, Jake Paulson in the 27th round and Jake Morton in the 29th round in 2014, Hayden Fox in the 21st round in 2012 and Shane McCatty in the 34th round in 2009.
