ROCHESTER, Mich. - Mikayela Marciniak hit 1-for-4 with a two-run double while Haley Zemmer tallied six strikeouts as Oakland (8-20, 3-3) dropped a 3-2 decision to rival University of Detroit Mercy in the Metro Series driven by Trinity Transportation series opener on Monday afternoon.

Danielle Szajna also hit 2-for-3 while Lyndsay Hill and Sarah Hartley each had hits. Oakland left 10 runners on base against UDM starter Alexis Robison-Kohrs who picked up the win.

The Golden Grizzlies and Titans conclude the series with a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 18 beginning at 2 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live from the Oakland Softball Field on ESPN3.
