HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Jake Lee threw 8.0 innings allowing just one run and Zach Sterry scored twice and hit a triple in game one, while in the nightcap the Golden Grizzlies scored eight runs in the ninth inning as Ryan Fitzgerald went 4-for-5 and Mike Brosseau hit a three-run home run as the Oakland baseball team earned a doubleheader sweep over Northern Kentucky, 6-1 and 12-4, on Saturday from Bill Aker Baseball Complex.

The Golden Grizzlies eight-run ninth inning in the second game are the most runs scored in a single inning since 2014. This marks Oakland's first series sweep in league play since May 2013.
