ROCHESTER, Mich. - Aaron Dehn tossed 7.0 innings allowing two runs, while Ian Yetsko collected three hits as the Oakland baseball team (6-24, 3-13) fell 5-2 in 11 innings to Wright State (26-10, 12-4) on Saturday from the Oakland Baseball Field.

"I'm really proud of the ways our guys competed today," said head coach John Musachio. "We had half a dozen chances to win this game and we didn't capitalize. I tip my cap to Wright State, they made some defensive mistakes and very easily could have rolled over but they didn't. Great effort by Dehn on the mound today."

In the 11th inning, Wright State would score three runs as Ryan Fucci broke the 2-2 tie with a sacrifice fly to right field, followed by Andrew McCafferty singling home a run.

Oakland tied the game at 2-2 in the seventh inning as Trent Drumheller hit a ground ball to second base to plate Tyler Janish.

The Raiders scored first in the second inning but the Golden Grizzlies responded with a run in the bottom half of the inning as Tyler Pagano brought home Zach Sterry to tie the game at 1-1. WSU took a 2-1 lead in the third inning on a Michael Timm RBI-double.

Oakland had a chance to win the game in the ninth inning as they would load the bases but WSU's Andrew Elliott would get a strikeout to end the threat and send the game to extra innings.

Elliott earned his third win of the season tossing the final 3.0 innings without allowing a run. Lucas Scocchia suffered the loss for Oakland allowing two runs in 3.1 innings in relief.

Due to rain scheduled in the Rochester area, the series finale on Sunday has been pushed up to a 11 a.m. start from the Oakland Baseball Field.
