CLEVELAND, Ohio - Cam Sabourin came back after dropping her first set in singles play to post a three-set victory at No. 1 singles Sunday afternoon in Oakland's 6-1 loss to Cleveland State at the Paramount Tennis Club.

Sabourin gave Cleveland State's Ellen Folkers all she could handle in the first set before falling, 7-5. But Oakland's senior found her groove quickly and captured the next two sets in a 5-7, 6-1, 6-1 victory.

Oakland's doubles team of Karine Celis and Juliana Guevara captured a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles, but Cleveland State was able to win No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take the first point of the day.

Elizabeth Guy twice forced tie breakers in singles, but was unable to outlast Cleveland State at No. 4 singles in a 7-6 (10-8), 7-6 (9-7) loss. Guevara just missed a 2-0 weekend for both singles and doubles play with a 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 loss at No. 6 singles.

The Golden Grizzlies will be at home Friday, April 3 for a 3:30 p.m. matchup with Wright State at the Bloomfield Tennis and Fitness Club. Should weather permit, the match will be moved to Oakland's outdoor tennis courts.
