PALM CITY, Fla. - Karine Celis was a two-time winner for Oakland Friday afternoon, posting wins at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles, in Oakland's 6-1 setback to FAU.

Celis was strong in a 6-1, 6-2 singles win at the No. 2 spot, using the momentum from a 6-4 victory at No. 2 doubles with tandem Juliana Guevara.

The Golden Grizzlies missed getting the doubles point, as Tamara Blum and Elizabeth Guy forced a tiebreaker at No. 3 doubles before falling, 7-6 (10-3).

Oakland is back in action Saturday, March 7 at Eastern Michigan for an 8:30 p.m. contest.
