PRESEASON ACCOLADES
Robby Enslen was named the Horizon League Preseason Player of the Year, while Mike Brosseau was selected to the preseason all-league team on Wednesday. Enslen was an All-Region second team and All-Horizon League first team selection last season leading the league in hitting (.378) and was third in slugging (.432) and on-base percentage (.440). He also closed the season ranked in the top-10 in hits, RBIs, home runs and doubles. Brosseau closed 2014 ranked in the top-10 in the Horizon League in hitting (.321), slugging (.432) and doubles (12) to be named to the All-Horizon League First Team.

Both Enslen and Brosseau were named to the College Sports Madness Preseason All-Horizon League first team, while Zach Sterry was selected to the second team. The 2014 Horizon League All-Freshman Team honoree, Sterry will look to improve on his rookie campaign that saw him finish second on the team in home runs and extra-base hits.

VETERAN ACE Jason Hager returns after being granted a sixth-year of eligibility to be the ace of Oakland's pitching staff. He was in the top-10 in the Horizon League last season in ERA, innings pitched, strikeouts and opposing batting average. He ranks second in program history in innings pitched (251.1) and strikeouts (202), while being named an all-league honoree in 2013. Hager is 39.1 innings and 68 strikeouts away from being the school's all-time leader in the respective categories.

COACH MOOSE AT THE HELM Head coach John Musachio enters his eighth season as the head coach and 10th overall with the program. He became the all-time winningest coach in program history last season and currently sits at 136 for his career. He was named The Summit League Coach of the Year in 2013. He has had four players drafted under his tenure, Jake Paulson in the 27th round and Jake Morton in the 29th round last season, Hayden Fox in the 21st round in 2012 and Shane McCatty in the 34th round in 2009.
