Box Score

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Mike Brosseau went 1-for-3 with a RBI and Tyler Janish scored the lone run as the Oakland baseball team (7-25) dropped a highly-contested game to Michigan (20-24-1), 3-1, Tuesday afternoon at Ray Fischer Stadium.

UM scored first in the bottom of the third inning but OU would respond to tie the game in the top of the fourth inning as Brosseau hit a sacrifice fly to left field to plate Janish. The Golden Grizzlies threatened in the top of the seventh inning with runners on first and third with one out, but the Wolverines were able to pick off the runner at first and get the next batter to ground out to end the inning.

UM's Ben Ballantine earned the win throwing 5.0 innings allowing one run on three hits with four strikeouts. OU starter Tyler Palm allowed one unearned run on no hits but three walks in 3.0 innings with four strikeouts.
