DeLAND, Fla. - Rebecca Phyle came up just short in a third-set tiebreaker Thursday afternoon in Oakland's final contest of their six-match swing through the Sunshine State, as the Golden Grizzlies (3-8) dropped a 7-0 decision to Stetson.

Phyle captured the first set 6-4 before her No. 6 singles opponent Brittany Hill won set two, 6-3. Phyle then lost in the tiebreaker, 10-8.

Stetson (6-1) set the tempo early with a sweep in doubles. Karine Celis and Juliana Guevara lost at No. 1 doubles, 8-4.

The Hatters then won five singles matches in straight sets. Tamara Blum lost her first set 7-6 before falling at No. 3 singles, 7-6, 6-1.

Oakland returns to the Midwest and will return to action Sunday, March 16 at Akron.
