LAS VEGAS - Juniors Demi Georgakopoulos and Karen Karoub didn't lose a game as the Oakland University women's tennis team (2-4, 1-0 Summit) beat Centenary (0-6, 0-2 Summit) 6-0, Thursday afternoon.
The Golden Grizzlies lost just 13 games in seven flights on the day.
"It's always great to start the conference season out with a win," said head coach Heather Redshaw. "From top to bottom, we played solid tennis. Karen, Grace and Demi lost just one game between the three of them which is outstanding. We'll be looking to carry this play over to tomorrow's match."
