FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Travis Bader made a career-high seven 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 21 points, while Drew Valentine added a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as Oakland (0-2) fell to Arkansas (2-0), 91-68, on Wednesday night inside Bud Walton Arena. The Golden Grizzlies were hurt by cold shooting early and trailed by 28 at the half, but outscored the Razorbacks 41-36 in the final 20 minutes.

Corey Petros grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Golden Grizzlies on the glass and Reggie Hamilton reached double figures with 11. Six Razorbacks were in double figures, led by Marshawn Powell's 20.

OU was just 5-for-20 through the first 11-plus minutes and found themselves down by 18 points, 32-14 with 8:21 remaining until halftime. The Golden Grizzlies would shoot just 29 percent (10-35) in the opening half compared to Arkansas' 56 percent (22-39) and trailed 55-27.

Oakland came out strong in the second half and outscored the Razorbacks by five. The Golden Grizzlies won the battle of the boards, 41-40, but were outscored 50-22 in the paint.

OU will travel to Grambling, La. for a game with Grambing State on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. The fourth and final road game for the Golden Grizzlies will be on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at Houston (8:30 p.m. ET).
