Rochester, Mich. (Aug. 24, 2006) ???C Oakland University???s baseball program will host its annual Alumni Weekend on September 30-October 1, 2006. The weekend will include a golf outing on Saturday and an alumni game and home run derby on Sunday. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Golden Grizzlies baseball program. On Saturday the golf outing will be held at the Sylvan Glenn Golf Course in Troy, Michigan. A 1:00 p.m. shotgun start will begin the event, which will be played in a four-person scramble format. Entry fees are $150 per person, which includes green fees, cart, door prizes and dinner. Sunday the weekend will turn to the diamond, where the team will host a home run derby at Noon, followed by the annual alumni game at 1:00 p.m. on the OU Baseball Field.
