(June 8, 2005) ???C Former Oakland stnadout Brad Morenko, drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 2004, was named to the Midwest League???s All-Star team for 2005 it was announced this week. A member of the Eastern Division Dayton Dragons, a Cincinnati affiliate, Morenko has posted a 6-1 record thus far with 28 strikeouts and a 2.47 earned run average, the sixth lowest in the league currently. He has made five starts in 14 appearances, throwing 54 2/3 innings.
