ROCHESTER, Mich. – Head coach David Brown and the women's tennis team have announced their fall schedule for the 2026-27 competition year. The Golden Grizzlies are set to participate in four tournaments, with the opportunity to advance to the ITA Conference Masters Championships for the second year in a row.

Oakland opens its season Sept. 18-19 at the Western Michigan Betsy Kuhle Invitational in Kalamazoo, Mich., before traveling to Cincinnati, Ohio, for the Horizon League Individual Championships, Oct. 2-4.

At the end of the month, the Golden Grizzlies return to two tournaments familiar to their schedule. The team will travel to Detroit for the Wayne State Doubles Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 24, then wrap up the fall season at the Rocket Invite in Toledo, Ohio, on Oct. 30-31.

Oakland returns to competition after winning its first regular-season championship in program history, collecting multiple postseason conference awards, and junior Martyna Piechowicz's singles title at the 2025 Horizon League Individual Championships.

The team will return to competition in late January to begin its regular season.
