NORMAN, Okla. – 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division I have been announced. From Oakland, Luke Kelly, Ellis Kinnaird, Matteo Rocco, Brennan Sullivan, and Jack Zubkus have been named scholars.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
649 NCAA Division I athletes from 210 schools earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors.
Kelly, a senior from Ireland, sported a 3.34 GPA last semester in Marketing in his final season in the Black and Gold. He competed in 21 rounds across seven invitationals during the 2025-26 season, posting a 74.0 scoring average and recording the first hole-in-one of his collegiate career at the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate.
Kinnard finished the spring semester with a 3.41 GPA in Marketing, as he played 30 rounds and competed in 10 regular-season invitationals through the season. The Canadian averaged 74.63 strokes per round and had a season-best score of 216 at the Tom Tontimonia Invitational and Butler Intercollegiate.
Rocco is majoring in Public Relations and Advertising at Oakland, earning a 3.56 GPA last semester. Over the course of the season, the Toronto native competed in 10 invitationals and played 30 total rounds, averaging 73.67 strokes. He scored one-under-par in back-to-back invitationals, placing 6th in the Tom Tontimonia Invitational and 11th in the Purdue Fall Invitational as he finished tied for 20th at the #HLGolf Championships.
Sullivan completed his sophomore season at Oakland, earning a 3.21 GPA in Pre-Business Administration. The Grosse Pointe native played 27 rounds of golf, playing in nine invitationals throughout the 2025-26 season and averaged 75.56 strokes per round.
Zubkus, a native of Ada, Michigan, sported a 3.34 GPA last semester in Pre-Business Administration while averaging 73.91 strokes per round. He played in all 11 invitationals with 33 rounds as he earned a season-best score of one-over-par at the Badger Invitational and the Golden Nugget Invitational.
