ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland Men's Soccer has announced its 2026 home promotions schedule, featuring a variety of themed match days and fan experiences throughout the season at Oakland Soccer Field.

The Golden Grizzlies will welcome fans all season long with special events, including Glow Gold Night, Club Day, World Cup Day, Homecoming, Salute to Service & First Responders Day and Senior Day, along with opportunities to reconnect with program alumni and celebrate the Oakland community.

Youth Team Experiences Available All Season

Youth soccer teams ages 12 and under are invited to be part of the game day experience throughout the 2026 season. Participating teams receive admission for players, coaches and family members, along with opportunities to participate in pregame international walkouts and on-field halftime activities, weather permitting.

August

Tuesday, Aug. 11 vs Indiana Tech | 2 p.m.
Season Kickoff
Oakland opens its home schedule with an exhibition against Indiana Tech, giving fans their first opportunity to see the 2026 Golden Grizzlies in action. Admission is FREE!

Tuesday, Aug. 27 vs UIC | 6 p.m.
Alumni Day / Soccer Doubleheader
Former players and supporters are invited back for Alumni Day as Oakland celebrates its men's soccer tradition. The evening features a doubleheader with the men's and women's soccer programs, and alumni and their families receive free admission.

September

Wednesday, Sept. 9 vs Cleveland State | 7 p.m.
Glow Gold Night
The regular season home slate officially begins with Glow Gold Night. Oakland faculty and staff receive discounted admission with a valid OU ID, while fans can enjoy glow sticks, mini flags, yard games and other family-friendly activities throughout the evening.

Saturday, Sept. 12 vs Northern Illinois | 2 p.m.
Club Day / Camper Reunion Day
Local and regional soccer clubs are invited to Oakland Soccer Field for Club Day. Youth players ages 12 and under wearing their club jerseys receive free admission with a paying adult. The Golden Grizzlies also welcome back participants from the Oakland Youth Men's Soccer Camp for Camper Reunion Day, with former campers receiving free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Saturday, Sept. 26 vs IU Indy | 1 p.m.
Salute to Service & First Responders Day
Oakland honors the men and women who serve the community and country. Veterans, active-duty military members and first responders receive free admission in recognition of their service.

October

Wednesday, Oct. 7 vs Green Bay | 2 p.m.
Homecoming
As part of Oakland University's Homecoming festivities, the Golden Grizzlies welcome men's soccer alumni back to campus for a special match-day celebration. Former players are invited to reconnect with teammates and celebrate the program's tradition while cheering on Oakland.

Saturday, Oct. 20 vs Bowling Green | 7 p.m.
World Cup Day
Celebrate the world's game as fans are encouraged to represent countries from around the globe by wearing national colors and bringing flags to create an energetic and diverse match-day atmosphere.

Friday, Oct. 30 vs Northern Kentucky | 2 p.m.
Senior Day
Oakland closes its regular-season home schedule by recognizing its senior class in a special pregame ceremony honoring their dedication and contributions to the Golden Grizzlies men's soccer program.
