INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Junior Emilia Jarvinen has been named to the 2026 Women's Valeo #HLTennis All-Academic Team, the league announced Thursday, while fellow junior Edie Hammond earned an honorable mention recognition.

This is Jarvinen's first All-Academic Team honor. The Finnish native holds a 3.97 GPA in psychology and currently has an 8-6 singles record and an 8-7 doubles record during the winter season, including a 2-1 mark in Horizon League singles play. At this year's Horizon League Individual Championships in September, she advanced to the doubles semifinals with Hammond.

Hammond, who received an honorable mention, carries a 3.75 GPA in psychology. The junior from the United Kingdom has remained undefeated in Horizon League singles play this winter, going 3-0 in conference and 9-7 overall. In addition to the doubles semifinal appearance with Jarvinen at the Horizon League Individual Championships, Hammond went unbeaten at the Rocket Indoor Invitational in October, winning all of her singles matches and all of her doubles matches with Jarvinen.
