ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Golden Grizzlies track and field squad prepares for its second week of outdoor competition, competing at the NC State Raleigh Relays and at Cedarville University this weekend.

Oakland makes its annual trip to the Raleigh Relays, sending seven runners to the three-day event.
In last year's trip, four Golden Grizzlies set personal records on the track in the early-season meet. The team looks to find its rhythm early in the season once again this year.
Wesley Hollowell and
Carter McCalister will take the track on Thursday.
Eliza Bush will be the lone Golden Grizzly in action on Friday, while
Tyler Donovan,
Pierce Grzymkowski, Colin McLaughlin, and
Hannah Fisher will close out the trip on Saturday.
AT CEDARVILLE UNIVERSITY | MAR. 28
Another group from the Oakland squad will travel to Cedarville University for a one-day meet.
Runners in the short- to mid-distance events will compete for Oakland, as
Kylei Anderson,
Natalia Bohn,
Lauren Goodman,
Austin Graham,
Evan Bryan, and
Olivia Reynolds take the track at the Midwest meet, marking their first time competing this spring.
Along with the runners, Oakland's throwers will also open competition for the outdoor season.
Desteny DeJarnett,
Jada Ewell,
Jamie Giese,
Lainee Wagner, Brooke Foster, and Connor Cherney will showcase their strength for the first time this spring.
