SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
After being voted the preseason favorite, the Panthers have really been hit by many injuries this season, losing five would-be members of the starting lineup for various lengths of time. Milwaukee is posting a 7-11 record in Horizon League action, steady in sixth-place in league standings after dropping 91-86, Friday to Detroit Mercy at Calihan Hall. Stevie Elam led the way with 22 points but a 6-for-6 showing from the free throw line in the final minute was enough for the Titans.

The Golden Grizzlies took care of Milwaukee on a national ESPNU broadcast last month, 73-60, inside UWM Panther Arena. Fifth-year Michael Houge led the team with 19 points, converting nine of his 15 field goal attempts and adding seven rebounds. Garrett contributed significantly with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while also providing four assists, as Oakland's number one point guard, Robinson, made an impact from the free-throw line, converting 12 of 14 attempts, and recorded three steals. Naivalurua was strong on the boards, collecting 10 rebounds and adding two blocks on defense for the night.
