SCOUTING THE JAGUARS
IU Indy enters the weekend with a 3-1 mark in Horizon League play as the Jaguars opened the season with a challenging non-conference slate, earning wins over UC Irvine, Ohio, and Butler while facing San Diego State, Washington, and No. 14 Purdue. IU Indy has carried that momentum into league play, opening conference action with a 3-1 record, including a pair of wins over Robert Morris and a split against Youngstown State. Offensively, the Jaguars are led by Jillian Tippmann with 3.68 kills per set, while Bailey Sinish adds 3.25 kills per set and 3.66 points per set. Setter Grace Purichia leads the team with 9.57 assists per set, while the Jaguars average 12.5 kills and 12.0 digs per set as a team.
IU Indy leads Oakland 16-29 in the all-time series, taking the last three of five match-ups between the two Horizon League opponents. Last season in Indianapolis, the Jaguars swept the Golden Grizzlies in both matches of the league series.
