AIKEN, SC – In the inaugural "More Than Golf" Invitational hosted by the ANNIKA Foundation, the Golden Grizzlies secured ninth place out of the twelve team field.
The Golden Grizzlies posted round scores of 322, 302, and 315, as a team, for a total of 939 (+63). The Women's Golf team was led by the duo of
Grace Boczar and
Savannah Haque.
Grace Boczar posted scores of 85, 75, and 73, for a total of 232 (+13).
Savannah Haque also finished the invitational at 232 (+13), with round scores of 78, 76, and 78. Both Boczar and Haque tied for 28th individually out of 70 competitors.
Their performances were followed by
Olivia Hemmila shooting 82, 77, and 78, and
Lily Bargamian posting 79, 74, and 85. As an individual,
Nateda Her compiled scores of 84, 87, and 77.
The Golden Grizzlies took advantage of an opportunity to improve on the course, but also further their efforts in life, through networking while providing players with the opportunity for life and career development.

The Golden Grizzlies will head to Bowling Green, Ohio to compete in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational from April 5-6.
