ROCHESTER, Mich. – Women's Tennis heads to Bowling Green, Ohio to take on the Falcons this Friday at the Keefe Courts. In their solo match of the weekend, the Golden Grizzlies look to focus their efforts on a strong showing.

In their last outing, the Golden Grizzlies came up short against the Western Michigan Broncos in Kalamazoo. This weekend, they look to flip the script. The Golden Grizzlies hold the advantage in all-time meetings against the Falcons, 2-1. This will be the fourth match-up between the two squads. In their meeting last year, the Golden Grizzlies fought hard but came up short, 2-5. With some new faces and experience against MAC teams this year, this team aims to add another win to their record. 

Warisara "Best" Lee brought home a win at No. 3 singles against Western Michigan, and looks to do so against the Falcons. At No. 6 singles, Martyna Piechowicz secured another point for the Golden Grizzlies. Against the Falcons, the Golden Grizzlies hope to improve and have more success this Friday. 

The Golden Grizzlies begin conference play March 29th and will use this match and a showdown against Wayne State as their final preparations before opening against Milwaukee. The match is slated to begin at noon at the Keefe Courts.
