Oakland closed the gap narrowly, as its deficit didn't tip over double-digits again in the half, while a deep shot from Isaiah Jones made it 29-27 Green Bay with 6:00 to play. Oakland only managed to score two points over the next 5:56 of play, but played stout defense to not let the game get away from them. Jayson Woodrich helped the team gain momentum heading into the locker room as he sank a three with :04 seconds to go to give Oakland just a four-point deficit after 20.

A Woodrich three nearly knotted things up, at 40-39, but Green Bay scored the next nine points to increase its lead. The Phoenix continued on and grew its lead to 12 before Buru Naivalurua brought it down to 10, but The Phoenix hung on to its double-digit lead.
