ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland women's tennis team continues its spring season with a pair of matches in California, taking on the University of Redlands on Feb. 25, at 5 p.m. before facing UC Irvine on Feb. 26, at 1 p.m.
The Golden Grizzlies are looking to build momentum as they compete against Redlands, a strong Division III program, before testing themselves against UC Irvine, a Big West Conference opponent. Oakland's lineup aims to deliver strong performances on the road following a close match against Niagara. With time to practice before heading to California, the Golden Grizzlies will use their time to tune up to their advantage on the road.
UC Irvine enters the matchup as a competitive Division I program, providing Oakland with a key non-conference test. The Golden Grizzlies will look to make a statement as they continue their non-conference schedule ahead of Horizon League play.
Stay tuned for match updates and results as Oakland battles on the West Coast.
