INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Now in back-to-back weeks, senior point guard
Brody Robinson was named the Horizon League's Under Armour #HLMBB Player of the Week for his performance on the hardwood the League announced Monday.
The Houston native scored a career-high 27 points and shot 58% from the field in Oakland's 101-92 win over Purdue Fort Wayne on Wednesday to open conference action. He also totaled up 19 points and a career-high eight field goals against Toledo, leading the Black and Gold with a 16.7 points/game average this season. Robinson dished out 17 total assists between the two home games, bringing his total to 62 and tied for 11th in the nation in the category.
The Golden Grizzlies are back on the court to face the Missouri Valley's Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. ET. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+.
