ROCHESTER, Mich. – Oakland Cross Country runners Anne May and Carter McCalister were tabbed to the 2025 Valeo #HLXC All-Academic Team the league announced Wednesday.

May, a junior from Shelby Township, was named All-Academic Honorable Mention, holding a 3.79 GPA in mechanical engineering and is a two-time member of the Horizon League's Academic Honor Roll. May ran in six meets over the season and finished 29th at the Horizon League XC Championships with a new PR in the women's 6k (22:11.6).

McCalister, a two-time member of the Horizon League's Academic Honor Roll, lands a spot on the Men's All-Academic team with a 3.94 cumulative GPA in pre-computer engineering at Oakland. The junior from Monroe, Mich. finished 11th (25:11.7) at the George Dales Invitational and 18th (24:32.6) at the Horizon League Championships in the 8k.
