ROCHESTER, Mich. –  Oakland Men's Basketball announces its promotional schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The Golden Grizzlies will host 14 games, including two exhibitions, on the Blacktop in the OU Credit Union O'rena this year, with many exciting theme nights and promotions. Promotional highlights include:

• Military Appreciation Night, 12/6 vs. Toledo

• Sneakerhead Night, 1/9 vs. Cleveland State

• Motor City Madness, 1/11 vs. Wright State

• Space Jam Night, 2/20 vs. Green Bay

 

Courtside seats are sold out for the 2025-26 season. Premium and reserved sideline season and single-game tickets are still available. Visit Ticketmaster or contact the Athletics Ticket Office at (248) 370-4000 for more information.

 

NOVEMBER

Saturday, November 15 vs. Defiance – 3:00 PM – Opening Night
Kick off the season with MBB posters, rally towels, and the first 100 people will receive a reusable Oakland bag!
 

DECEMBER

Wednesday, December 3 vs. Purdue Fort Wayne – 7:00 PM – Tropical Night
Receive a free leis and bring out your best hula skirt and Hawaiian shirt to participate in the "Best Tropical Outfit" contest.

Saturday, December 6 vs. Toledo – 3:00 PM – Military Appreciation Night
All veterans and active military will receive free admission along with an Oakland can koozie, commemorative poster, and 10% off coupon at the merchandise stand. Oakland students will receive an Oakland camo bucket hat and fans will get mini American flags, U.S. flag pins, and join us with "I Salute" signs in-arena.
 

JANUARY

Sunday, January 4 vs. Robert Morris – 3:00 PM – Community School Night
Come on out for a kids-themed afternoon! Discounted tickets are available to Oakland County Schools as there will be coloring sheets, temporary tattoos, and Grizz stickers on the concourse. Grizz Kidz Club members can enjoy a pregame party with pizza and drinks and a chance to meet Grizz! 

Friday, January 9 vs. Cleveland State – 7:00 PM – Sneakerhead Night
Bring out your best Dunks, Jordans, or Chucks to compete in our "Best Sneakers" fan competition and receive a prize. Special themed keychains and stickers will also be available on the concourse.

Sunday, January 11 vs. Wright State – 3:00 PM – Motor City Madness
Come out and support all Detroit sports teams wearing your best 313 gear! Be sure to grab some Lions, Pistons, Tigers, and Red Wings giveaways at the marketing table!

Wednesday, January 21 vs. IU Indy – 7:00 PM – Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night
Join us to thank all who work at Oakland with discounted tickets for faculty and staff members and recognize them in-game.

FEBRUARY

Sunday, February 1 vs. Northern Kentucky – 3:00 PM – Coaches vs. Cancer Night
Open February as we recognize and support all those affected by cancer. Pick up a "Beat Cancer" pin and honor someone with "I play for" signage. 

Thursday, February 12 vs. Youngstown State – 7:00 PM – Greek Night
Come meet the Greek chapters on the concourse and watch some more competition in the Greek Life Showdown at halftime. First 100 fans will receive an Oakland lanyard.

Friday, February 20 vs. Green Bay – 7:00 PM – Space Jam Night
Join the Tune Squad and break out your trivia knowledge as the first 300 students will receive Space Jam themed water bottles. Also enter your name into a raffle for a Tune Squad jersey!

Sunday, February 22 vs. Milwaukee – 3:00 PM – Pontiac Initiative / Star Wars Day
Come for an afternoon as we celebrate the OU and City of Pontiac relationship, while decking out your best Darth Vader mask. Enjoy a Star Wars themed game and pick up themed keychains and stickers.

Saturday, February 28 vs. Detroit Mercy – 3:00 PM – Black Out / Senior Day
Wear black and join us as we honor our graduating seniors in a special pre-game ceremony.
