Robinson Named Riley Wallace Award Finalist

BOSTON, Mass. – CollegeInsider.com has announced the finalists for the 2025-26 Riley Wallace award. The award is presented annually to the most impactful transfer in division I college basketball and Oakland Men's Basketball senior Brody Robinson was named to the list.

The award is named in honor of the longtime Hawaii coach. During his coaching career at Hawaii, Riley Wallace welcomed many transfers into the program and became the winningest coach in program history. Wallace guided Hawaii to nine postseason appearances, including a school-record streak of four straight from 2001-04.

Robinson was named First Team All-League after averaging 17.0 points and a league-leading 6.8 assists per game, ranking top-25 nationally in assists while sitting third in the country in free throw attempts and makes. The UT-Arlington transfer recorded five double-doubles and posted 13 assists at IU Indy Jaguars to crack Oakland's single-game top-10 list. He also tied the Horizon League record for 10 three-pointers made in Oakland's first-round game against Northern Kentucky in the 2026 Horizon League Tournament, going 10-for-20 from deep and netting a career-high 36 points in the close game. The Houston native is only one of three OU players in the Division I era to score 500+ points and dish 200+ assists in a single season.
