ROCHESTER, Mich. – Women's Tennis starts the spring season on the road at Dayton and Cincinnati this weekend.

Following a strong slate of matches this fall, the Golden Grizzlies get back on the court in Ohio for their first set of matches this spring. This Friday the Golden Grizzlies head to the University of Dayton to take on the Flyers at 3 p.m.. Saturday, Women's Tennis will take a short trip to the University of Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats of the Big 12 at 6:30 p.m.. 

The Golden Grizzlies have added a new face to the roster, Ida Hultgvist. This addition looks to be a welcome sight this spring to support those who are returning. Emilia Jarvinen, Edie Hammond, and Warisara Lee all look to start the spring strong and lead the Golden Grizzlies. 

This weekend slate begins a 14-match road stretch. This past fall was a great opportunity for Women's Tennis to prepare for this spring, with each player getting extensive opportunities. In his second year at the helm, David Brown looks to improve on last season, and even this fall. With new faces and a semester under their belts, the Golden Grizzlies are poised to make a run this spring.
