ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland women's tennis returns from a weekend road trip with a split 1-1 record as they took the loss 3-4 against Northern Kentucky but then captured the win 5-2 win against IUPUI. 

Although the Golden Grizzlies fell short to the Norse on Saturday in a close matchup, they picked it up on Sunday with a dominating win from impressive doubles and singles wins. Oakland claims the doubles point with graduate student pair Isabelle Popma and Emma Hultqvist taking the gold in the first matchup with a score of 6-3, and then freshman pair Emilia Jarvinen and Edie Hammond continued the momentum with a 6-2 win. Singles play resulted in four wins from Jarvinen, Hammond, Hultqvist, and Popma to seal the victory.
