ROCHESTER, Mich. - Despite the cold weather, the Golden Grizzlies took home the co-champion title from the Nevel Meade Collegiate after finishing two rounds on the green and sharing the win with the University of Illinois-Chicago, respectively.

Hannah Kono came out on top of the Golden Grizzlies' starting five lineup as she landed a second place finish shared with Evansville's Kate Petrova. The freshman shot her season-best seven over the par 72 course with a total of 151 over the top rounds on the green (78, 73).
Following was sophomore twins Bridget and
Grace Boczar who secured the 4th and 5th place finishes. Bridget recorded a plus-10 over par score of 154 (74, 80) to stand alone in fourth place, and Grace punched a plus-12 over par score of 156 (73, 83) to add a third top-ten placement for Oakland concluding the invite.
Rounding out the starting five competitors were
Olivia Hemmila who put up a score of 165 (81, 84) from her plus-19 performance landing her in a five-way tie for 26th. And
Nateda Her finished out the tournament with a plus-25 over par score of 169 (84, 85) putting her in a four-way tie in 42nd place.
Notably, freshman
Lily Bargamian competed individually and secured a plus-19 over par score of 163 (80, 83) to place her in a four-way tie for 17th.
