ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland Tennis preps for a weekend of competition and will travel to Ball State on Friday and Eastern Michigan on Saturday.
Previously, the Golden Grizzlies split scores last weekend ending with a win against Niagra and a loss against Buffalo which brought head Coach David Brown his first-ever collegiate win at the NCAA Division 1 level.
Emilia Jarvinen led Oakland in most individual wins over the weekend counting three of her four appearances on the court as victories. The team captured two doubles wins this weekend led by pairings Popma and Hultqvist along with Hammond and Jarvinen to secure the win against Niagra University.
Oakland looks to take on midwest opponents in non-conference play across Michigan and through Indiana.
