INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – On Tuesday, the Horizon League revealed its 2023-24 #HLBB slates with 20 home contests across Oakland University Men's and Women's Basketball programs. 

On the men's side, Oakland will open and finish the regular season conference slate with Metro Series opponent the University of Detroit Mercy while closing out the calendar year on the road at Cleveland State University and Youngstown State University on December 28 and December 31. 

The men will have four home games and three road trips in the month of January with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Northern Kentucky University, and Youngstown State entering the newly minted OU Credit Union O'rena. 

February begins and ends with a home game for Oakland's men's squad in Robert Morris University (just before Cleveland State) and Wright State University (after Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis). 

When it comes to the women, Oakland will begin #HLWBB play at home against the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons on November 30. These two split the season series a year ago with 
each team claimed the victory on the road and the two meetings were decided by a total of only 11 points.

Beginning with a visit from the rival Detroit Mercy Titans, the Golden Grizzlies will play four consecutive home games from January 13-25, a stretch that will also allow fans to see Oakland battle the Milwaukee Panthers, Green Bay Phoenix, and Cleveland State Vikings.

To round out their regular season, the Golden Grizzly women will host the IUPUI Jaguars on March 2 as part of a doubleheader with the men playing Detroit Mercy shortly after.
