ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Oakland volleyball team's three-game win streak came to an end Saturday night as the Golden Grizzlies fell to Wright State, 3-1 from the OU Credit Union O'rena.

Oakland (15-11, 9-5 HL) dropped the first two sets (21-25, 11-25) before finding its rhythm in set three to take the win (29-27) but was unable to complete the comeback for the second-straight night, dropping set four, 25-18.

Patti Cesarini led the way for Oakland with 14 kills, adding seven digs and chipping in two aces. Cesarini was the only Golden Grizzly to record double-digit kills as Oakland was held to just a .098 hitting percentage compared to Wright State's .248 percent clip on the night.

WSU had the edge in kills (61-42), assists (59-41), and blocks (11-8).

Emily Wichmann continued to pace the Oakland defense, tallying a team-best 20 digs.
Kennedy Dolmage and
Rachel Rossman rounded out Oakland's double-digit dig performers with 13 and 12 respectively.

Rossman's 12 digs coupled with her 21 assists, marks her ninth double-double of the season and second in three games.
Sarah Turner recorded 17 assists and added six digs. Â

The Raiders (15-10, 11-3 HL) registered four double-digit kill performers in Reilly Zegunis (16), Megan Alders (12), Sam Ott (12), and Aaliyah Byers (10) to help extend Wright State's win streak to three straight.

The Golden Grizzlies will travel to Cleveland State Friday, Nov. 3 for its lone match of the week at Wooding Gymnasium beginning at 6 p.m.
