ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Oakland Women's Tennis team will open up their regular season play on the road to take on Western Michigan on Friday, February 3rd at 11:00 am on the Sorensen Courts/ West Hills Athletic Club. Following this, they will head to Toledo on Saturday, February 4th to round out the weekend and take on the Rockets at Twos Athletic Club at 1:00 pm.

Previously the team competed at three different tournaments in the fall including those hosted by Ball State, Michigan State, and Western Michigan. With successful performances coming from the three tournaments, the team looks forward to competing in their first regular season matchup starting in Kalamazoo. 

At their last run at the Western Michigan Invite the team competed exceptionally well accumulating a 11-7 singles record and a 7-2 doubles record. Yasmin Glazbrook and Jillian Milano both went 6-0 on the weekend from their doubles and singles wins, and notably Nirva Patel came out of the challenge with a 5-1 record, respectively.
