INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Rounding out a two-game road swing, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies were defeated by the host IUPUI Jaguars, 85-69, on Sunday, January 22.
Putting an end to a three-game win streak, the Golden Grizzlies are now 10-9 and 5-5 in Horizon League play, while IUPUI, who extended their win streak to three, is now 11-8 and 7-3 in the conference.

Sunday represented a personal milestone for Beatty as she made her 100
th career start in her 102
nd game in a Golden Grizzly uniform and she celebrated the achievement by posting her third-straight outing with 15 or more points.
The Jaguars knocked down 44 percent (11-25) of their 3-point attempts, led by a 6-8 showing from senior Rachel Kent, who racked up a game-high and career-best 30 points.
Classmates Natalie Andersen and Jazmyn Turner and graduate student Destiny Perkins also reached double figures for IUPUI. Ali Berg, another senior, hit three triples to wind up with nine.
Oakland led, 19-17, after 10 minutes of play, but the Jaguars used a strong second quarter to take a 45-34 cushion into the halftime break.
With a third quarter that saw both squads tally 19 points, the Golden Grizzlies kept the deficit at 11 after three frames, but IUPUI pulled away slightly further in the fourth to bring the contest to its 16-point final.
Both teams finished with 33 rebounds and the Jaguars registered 18 assists to Oakland's 10.
The Golden Grizzlies shot 40 percent (28-70) Sunday, including 22.7 percent (5-22) from distance. At the stripe, Oakland was 8-14 (57.1 percent).

Beginning a four-game homestand, the Golden Grizzlies will next be in action on Thursday, January 26 when the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons visit the O'rena at 7 p.m. on ESPN+ (subscription required).
This will be the second meeting between these two teams this season, as the Golden Grizzlies utilized a comeback to best the Mastodons, 66-64, in Fort Wayne on December 4 for their first Horizon League victory of the campaign.
