Horizon League Unveils 2022-23 Men's Basketball Schedule

ROCHESTER, Mich. – On Tuesday, the Horizon League revealed its 2022-23 conference slate featuring 10 home opportunities for the Golden Grizzlies.

Oakland will be on the road for its first paired slate on December 1 and December 3 against Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne before a pause in league play resumes on December 29 and December 31 against Milwaukee and Green Bay.

On January 6 and January 8, the Golden Grizzlies head south to Northern Kentucky and Wright State before returning home January 12 and January 14 versus Robert Morris and Youngstown State.

IUPUI and Oakland will meet at Indiana State Farm Coliseum on Thursday, January 19 before the first iteration of the Metro Series against Detroit Mercy takes place at Calihan Hall on Monday, January 23.

The easternmost leg of the Horizon League road trip will start in Moon Township, Pennsylvania on Friday, January 27 versus Robert Morris and concludes on Sunday, January 29 in Youngstown, Ohio against the Penguins. Oakland will then host Purdue Fort Wayne and Cleveland State in the O'rena on Thursday, February 2 and Saturday, February 4.

The final Horizon League road trip concludes on Thursday, February 9 in Green Bay against the Phoenix and finally against Milwaukee on Saturday, February 11. Oakland will then host four-straight home games to round out the 2022-23 slate starting on Wednesday, February 15 against IUPUI before finishing the Metro Series on Friday, February 17 against the Titans.

Dates with Wright State on February 23 and Northern Kentucky on February 25 finish out the schedule at the O'rena ahead of the Horizon League Men's Basketball Tournament.
