OAKLAND EIGHTH AT DELORES BLACK FALCON INVITE

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Oakland University Women's Golf completed the two day Delores Black Falcon Invitational Sunday in eight of 11 teams at the Stone Ridge Golf Club.

Nateda Her led the way for Oakland in a tie for 13th, finishing the 72-par course plus-10 in 154 (78-76) over two days. Ashley Chinn and Amalia Shahzan followed suit in a tie for 20th as both athletes would go 155 (+11), respectively.

Veronica Haque completed the event tied for 41st plus-17 in 161 (84-77) while Sydney Martens rounded out the top five for OU at plus-19 in 163 (82-81) for 50th of 74 competitors.

The Golden Grizzlies finished eighth of eleven teams in 633 (+57) as host BGSU won the meet followed by Akron and Cleveland State, respectively, in second and third-place.

On the docket next for OU are the 2022 Horizon League Golf Championships April 24-26 at Howey in the Hills, Florida.
