CHICAGO -- Three Golden Grizzlies finished in double figures as the Oakland women's basketball team defeated UIC, 59-47 Sunday afternoon to cap off its five-game road swing.

It marks the 14th time this season Dean has tallied a double-digit performance. The senior shot 43 percent from the floor and was a perfect 4-4 from the line. Dean added four assists and two steals on the day.

McQueen went 4-8 from the floor and tied her season-best six boards. For the third time this season, Folley recorded double figures, going an impressive 4-5 from the floor, adding three assists.

It was all Golden Grizzlies Sunday afternoon, as OU never trailed and led by as much as 16. After the first media timeout of the first quarter, the Golden Grizzlies went on an 8-3 run spanning 3:36 to close out the first quarter and take a 17-10 after the first 10 minutes.

UIC was able to get within six mid-way through the second quarter, but the Golden Grizzlies turned up the pressure and put together an 8-1 run starting with a triple from Breanne Beatty that ultimately gave Oakland an 31-18 lead heading into halftime. After the first 20 minutes Oakland had forced 17 UIC turnovers, scoring 24 points off the Flames' miscues.

Oakland maintained its lead in the final 10 minutes despite only scoring nine points, earning the 59-47 win over UIC, the fourth win in six games for the Golden Grizzlies.

Sydney Gouard pulled down a game high 11 boards, tying a career best. The junior also chipped in six points, adding three steals and two assists.

Oakland held the Flames to just 5-14 (36 percent) shooting in the third quarter and out-rebounded UIC, 9-3, extending OU's lead to 14, heading into the fourth quarter with a 50-36 advantage.
