
ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland men's soccer graduate Noah Jensen has signed a professional contract with Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League.
"We are all very excited for Noah and the Jensen Family with his signing professionally with Forge FC Hamilton in the Canadian Premier League (CPL) after an amazing five seasons in Oakland Black & Gold from 2017 through 2021. Noah will arguably go down as one of the best overall players in Oakland University's 49 year legacy of soccer excellence as evidenced by his numerous accomplishments," Head Coach Eric Pogue said.
During his five years at Oakland, Jensen showed incredible success on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. In his final season, he won the 2021 NCAA Division I Senior CLASS Award, 2021 Horizon Player of the year, the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Men's Scholar All-America second-team honors, All-League first-team honors, and first-team All-North Region honors.
"I am very excited to take the first step of my professional career with Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League. It is an honour to be signed by such a prestigious club and to be able to play in a professional league back home in Canada. I am very grateful to be given this amazing opportunity and will continue to work hard to achieve success at this next level," Jensen said.

My teammates and coaches pushed me to be the person and player I am today, and I will always be thankful for my amazing 4.5 years at OU," Jensen said. "I am very proud to be creating a pathway for other future professionals coming out of Oakland and can't wait to get started playing at the next level."
This year the Canadian native led the Horizon League in assists and assists per game, tied for first in cumulative points, third in shots on goal, fifth in goals, and sixth in shots. He ranked third nationally in assists (12), ninth in assists per game (0.57), 15th in total points (28), 48th in shots per game (2.95).
"It was a pleasure to watch Noah develop over his time in Rochester, and we are certain that Noah will continue to pursue excellence in the CPL, as well as have opportunities with the Canadian National Team in years to come as his game continues to evolve at the highest levels," Pogue said.
