ROCHESTER, Mich. – Separated by just two points for fourth-place in the Horizon League standings, Saturday's battle between the Golden Grizzlies and the IUPUI Jaguars at the Oakland Soccer Field already had significant importance.
Factor in Senior Day and it being the second-to-last time the program's seven graduating student-athletes will ever be playing a home regular season match, and it becomes even more so.
Dropping a non-league tilt to the Western Michigan Broncos their last time out on October 18, the Golden Grizzlies will enter play at 3-8-3 (3-1-2 Horizon League), while IUPUI is 3-5-5 (2-1-3) and on a two-match win streak.
