ROCHESTER, Mich. -- In their last home meet of the season, Emily Schaub won the javelin throw with a distance of 129 ft., 10.5 in. and broke the school record while Lauren Christian broke the record in the shot put with a distance of 46 ft., 2 in.

In the field events, Dana Tessmer won the pole vault with a height of 12 ft., 0 in. while Zach Stadnika won for the men (13 ft., 11.75 in.). Stadnika also won the javelin (157 ft., 0 in.) while Alex Hugh-Plott won the long jump (21 ft., 2 in.) and the high jump (6 ft., 7 in.). Hannah Hall took the high jump win with a height of 5 ft., 5.25 in. 

Oakland swept the 1500 steeplechase, with Jennifer Ohlsson taking first for the women with a time of 5:33.04 and Trey Plichta winning for the men (4:34.01).

Marcus Nellum won the 400 hurdles with a time of 57.18 while Jake Kaupp won the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.51. Napoleon Outlaw III won the 100 (10.68). Briana Walker won the women's 400 (1:01.24) and Sheldon Drake won the 200 dash (2.32).

The Golden Grizzlies head to Youngstown, Ohio for the Horizon League Championship May 7-9.
