ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Golden Grizzlies prepare for another weekend split across the Midwest, traveling to Central Michigan and the University of Tennessee.
In their most recent meet, Oakland hosted the annual Golden Grizzlies Invite, where they tallied 13 total event wins and recorded six personal bests.
Elizabeth Rice,
Blake Foster,
Kylei Anderson,
Jamie Giese, and
Lauren Goodman all claimed multiple event titles, leading a dominant performance across the board.
Oakland will send its throwers and short-distance athletes to the Tennessee Invitational, with
Lauren Goodman,
Kylei Anderson,
Ja-Van Poole,
Evan Bryan,
Elizabeth Rice,
Jamie Giese, and
Blake Foster scheduled to compete in their respective events.
The Tennessee Invitational will take place over two days, April 10–11.
The Chippewa Challenge in Mount Pleasant will be a one-day meet, beginning on April 11 at 10 a.m. Oakland will send its mid- to long-distance runners to the mid-Michigan competition, as athletes such as
Eliza Bush,
Tyler Donovan, and
Courtney Bovair, among others, look to make it two consecutive weeks with wins under their belts.
