"I could not be more happy, proud and elated to announce the promotion of one of my closest friends, Paul Doroh, to the position of Associate Head Coach. A Pioneer defender and Hall of Honor Alum (1993-96), Paul bleeds Black and Gold and his passion for our university, our program and our student-athletes is without question," said Pogue. "Our Pioneer and Golden Grizzlies alumni will be elated with this promotion as Paul epitomizes everything the men's soccer program stands for."

Doroh helped Oakland qualify for three Horizon League tournaments with 17 wins in league play and 26 overall during the past four seasons as an Assistant Coach (2016-19).

"Paul has done an exceptional job as our Assistant Coach for the past four seasons and I have the utmost confidence in his ability to help bring the program back to making Horizon League championship and NCAA Tournament runs", added Pogue. "His dedication, passion, work ethic and attention to detail is second to none and I'll be honored to work side by side with one of my respected loyal colleagues together for many years to come. Congrats Paul on your well-earned promotion and I look forward to all our accomplishments ahead."
