INDIANAPOLIS -- The Horizon League announced the 2019-20 men's basketball schedule on Tuesday with Oakland beginning league play at home on Dec. 28 against in-state rival Detroit Mercy.

The Golden Grizzlies will remain home the next weekend hosting Wright State (Jan. 3) and Northern Kentucky (Jan. 5), last year's regular season and league tournament champions respectively. 

Oakland will host its fifth-annual WinterFest game on Saturday, Jan. 25 against IUPUI. The Golden Grizzlies will face Detroit Mercy in Calihan Hall on Friday, Jan. 31.

Every Horizon League men's basketball game will be available on ESPN's family of networks. Full television information and start times will be announced on Sept. 24.
